About Dr. Alena Fear
Dr. Fear comes from a long line of dental professionals and is proud to continue her family’s legacy in oral healthcare. Her great-grandfather began the tradition as a general dentist, her uncle is a retired orthodontist, and her mother—now retired—practiced general dentistry in the Milan area for more than 20 years.
Today, Dr. Fear is honored to work alongside her father not only as a colleague, but as a partner and mentor, bringing a multigenerational perspective to patient care. This shared philosophy emphasizes safety, clear communication, and thoughtful treatment planning tailored to each individual.
Outside the office
Outside of the office, Dr. Fear enjoys spending time with her family and her rescue dog, Gunnar. She is a passionate sports fan—especially of Michigan Wolverines and Detroit teams—and loves attending athletic events whenever she can.
Not just a spectator, Dr. Fear is also on a personal mission to complete a half-marathon in all 50 states. While she values her time spent training in Texas, she is thrilled to be back in Michigan enjoying everything the seasons have to offer—from Great Lakes beaches in the summer to Michigan Football Saturdays in the fall, and even reacclimating to snowy winters.
